About Garden State Floor Tile

Garden State Floor Tile Company was incorporated in 1958 by Kermit Krisburg. It began as a small wholesale distributor of flooring products. The original office and warehouse were located at Marlboro, NJ.

In 1960 the business was relocated to Bound Brook, NJ. Dale Benscoter became an employee in 1965.

In 1973, after nearly 15 years of operations, a fire and flood destroyed the Bound Brook office and warehouse. The business continued operating and was relocated and reopened in neighboring Middlesex, NJ.

In 1979 Garden State Floor Tile was purchased by Dale Benscoter, the company president, and he has maintained the current operations at 132 Lincoln Boulevard. During his tenure, he as expanded the product line, while maintaining the long standing customer relationships that have been developed with retail stores across New Jersey.

The current facility consists of offices, temperature controlled rooms, and over 12,000 square feet of warehouse space. Since Garden State is a wholesale distributor, the warehouse is not open to the public.
